Fighters of the Zapad group of forces destroyed 46 quadrocopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a day

Military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation of the Zapad group of forces destroyed military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the past day, 46 heavy quadrocopters, 16 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), 12 ground-based robotic complexes (NRTK), Hyacinth-B cannon, four mortar and howitzer L119. This was announced on Friday morning, January 2, by the head of the group's press center, Ivan Bigma.

"16 aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles, a barrage of ammunition, and 46 heavy combat quadrocopters of the enemy were shot down in the air," TASS quoted him as saying.

Bigma clarified that air defense units, as well as mobile firing groups, took part in the operations. They also discovered and destroyed 42 UAV control points and four warehouses where Ukrainian militants stored their ammunition.

Over the past day, Russian fighters of the Zapad group of forces also hit two self-propelled artillery installations of the Acacia and Gvozdika models.
