Hyacinth-B crews destroyed the Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds in the area of the special operation

Hyacinth-B artillery crews of the 38th separate motorized rifle Brigade of the 35th Army of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region. This was announced on January 2 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

Operators of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have identified strongholds equipped in shelters. After confirming the data, they were handed over to the gunners.

The Hyacinth-B crews struck at the identified targets. As a result, the strongholds were destroyed, and the enemy lost the opportunity to hold their positions and build new defenses west of the Gulyai-Pole settlement.

On December 31, 2025, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that military personnel of the 152-mm towed Hyacinth-B artillery gun of the 268th self-propelled artillery Regiment of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Center group of forces disrupted the rotation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO). The gunners, having received the coordinates, deployed the gun and successfully hit all targets using high-explosive shells.
