The crew of the Su-34 multifunctional supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) destroyed the manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of responsibility of the Southern Group of Forces. This was announced on Friday, January 2, by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is noted that the Su-34 crew struck a cluster of personnel and armored vehicles at specified coordinates. The operation used aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC).

The ministry clarified that after receiving confirmation from intelligence about the destruction of targets, the crew returned safely to the departure airfield.
