Pskov paratroopers visited the school named after the first head of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) Alexander Zakharchenko and congratulated the students on the New Year as part of the action of the Airborne Troops "Heroes of our Time". Colonel Yuri Vladimirov, Deputy Commander of the Pskov Guards Airborne Assault Unit, conveyed congratulations to the students from Colonel-General Mikhail Teplinsky, Commander of the Airborne Forces and the Dnepr group of troops.

The students were able to get acquainted with samples of modern weapons and equipment used during a special military operation, as well as try themselves as operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), master the basics of field medicine and try on the D-10 parachute.

"The children were interested in all the items presented today, from small arms to radio communications, jamming, electronic warfare, drones and first aid. The children showed initiative and interest, asking how it all worked.
