In Dagestan, a man had both hands blown off by a firecracker

A resident of Dagestan lost two hands as a result of a firecracker explosion on New Year's Eve. This was announced on January 1 in the press service of the main directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"The most serious incident occurred in Buinaksk, where a man born in 1985 was taken in the evening with a complete traumatic separation of both hands as a result of a mine explosion injury," the press service said in a statement.
