On January 1, Natalia Kochanova, Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, condemned the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a cafe and a hotel in Khorlakh, calling such attacks on civilian targets a gross violation of international humanitarian law.
"It is always with deep pain that we receive news about the deaths of civilians in areas of armed conflict and consider such attacks on civilian targets to be a gross violation of international humanitarian law," the Telegram channel of the Council of the Republic quoted her as saying.
