The Air Defense Forces shot down another drone that was heading towards Moscow. This was announced on January 1 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"Another drone flying to Moscow was destroyed. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he said in a statement on Twitter.
