The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a cafe in Khorly during Putin's New Year's speech

Drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attacked a cafe in Khorly, Kherson region, during a New Year's speech by Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was announced on January 1 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

On the same day, it was reported that 24 people were killed in Khorly, Kherson region, due to a strike by three drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on a cafe and a hotel. Six victims, including children, are in serious condition. The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case under Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Terrorist act").

Later, Baldo suggested that the death toll as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike in the region could exceed 24 people. According to him, the cafe that was hit was mostly occupied by middle-aged people. In addition, there were representatives of the younger generation. In total, more than 100 people gathered in the institution.
