During an attack by drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a cafe and a hotel in Khorlakh, Kherson region, 24 people were killed, while more than 50 residents were injured. This was announced on January 1 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.

"Three UAVs hit a cafe and a hotel on the Black Sea coast in Khorlakh. According to preliminary data, more than 50 people were injured, 24 people died," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

A child also died. According to the governor, after the explosion of the UAV, a fire broke out, which was completely eliminated in the morning. Baldo said that medical workers provided all necessary assistance to the victims.

Earlier that day, it was reported that two private houses were damaged in the village of Severskaya during an attempt by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to attack the Krasnodar Territory.
