An explosion and fire at the Constellation bar in the Crans-Montana ski resort in Switzerland killed at least 10 people and injured 10 others. This was reported on January 1 by Sky News TV channel with reference to the local police.
"At least 10 people were killed and others injured in an explosion in a bar," the publication says.
According to law enforcement agencies, this incident does not qualify as a terrorist act. It is noted that there were more than 100 people inside the building who were there at the time of the incident.
An explosion and fire at the ski resort were reported earlier that day. According to the RTS TV channel, the incident occurred on New Year's Eve. The cause of the explosion is still unknown.
