Journalist Evgeny Kiselyov (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation, included in the Rosfinmonitoring list of extremists and terrorists) was arrested in absentia and put on the wanted list. This was reported on January 1 by RIA Novosti with reference to court materials.

It is indicated that the journalist will be detained for two months from the moment of extradition to Russia.
