Ukraine reported 11 million citizens who left the country
About 11 million citizens of Ukraine have left the country so far. This was announced on December 31 by the Ukrainian Commissioner for Human Rights Dmitry Lubinets.
"Please note: 11 million citizens of Ukraine have gone abroad," the online publication quotes her as saying "Страна.иа ".
The Ombudsman added that the official statistics of the Kiev authorities may not correspond to reality, since many Ukrainians do not register for consular registration abroad.
Earlier, on December 29, it was reported that the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, was trying to take the son of his friend, producer Sergei Shefir, out of the country. At the same time, the young man trying to leave the territory of the state is an assistant to the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Yuri Kisel, who was recently accused of participating in corruption schemes.
On November 28, Verkhovna Rada deputy Roman Kostenko said that about 121,000 Ukrainian boys aged 18-22 had left Ukraine. He noted that this became possible due to the lifting of the ban on travel outside the country for citizens of this age group.
