Calculations of FPV drones destroyed six hexacopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a week.

The calculation of FPV drones of the 5th Separate Guards Tank Brigade of the Vostok group of forces detected and eliminated six heavy hexacopters of the Baba-Yaga type of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Zaporizhia region within a week. This was announced on January 1 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"We had three people: two operators, one engineer. I was flying on completely different business, so to speak, and I saw Baba Yaga "Vampire" flying from below. <...> I turn around, catch up with her and destroy her. She didn't even have time to reset, she didn't reach her goal," the operator with the call sign Molodoy shared the details of the liquidation.

He also noted that the enemy has recently become more active, and drones of this type have become more frequent during the day.

According to the ministry, during the active offensive in the Zaporizhia region, the military personnel of the unmanned systems forces (UAVs) of the 36th combined arms army of the Vostok group of forces showed high results in the fight against the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Ukrainian militants.

On January 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that calculations of FPV drones of the BPS troops as part of the North group of forces disrupted the rotation of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region. The aerial reconnaissance unit detected the movement of an enemy armored vehicle and transmitted the data to the FPV drone operators. The personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wanted to take advantage of the bad weather conditions to rotate in the combat zone.
