"The first baby born in Kamchatka in 2026 was a girl who was born at 01:01 (16:01 Moscow time on December 31). The girl's weight is 3 kg. 380 g. The newborn and her mother feel well," the message on the Telegram channel says.

It is specified that all newborns in Kamchatka are provided with a set that includes the most important and most in-demand items for infant care. This set is given to parents either upon discharge from a medical institution, or during the birth registration process at the registry office. Also in 2026, there will be an expansion of ways to support families with children. For example, in the region, women who have had their first child can receive regional maternity capital.
