In Japan, an unemployed son beat his father to death
In Saito, Japan, a 61-year-old unemployed man beat his 93-year-old father to death. This was reported by Japan Today on December 30.
According to investigators, the man repeatedly beat his elderly father.
"Makoto Yamaguchi, who was arrested on Monday, is accused of hitting his father several times on the head and face with dishes and fists, as well as hitting him in the chest and lower back, from the beginning of December to December 25," the material says.
After another beating that took place on December 28, the son called the emergency services because of his parent's poor health. Doctors diagnosed the elderly man with multiple fractures. He died in the hospital on the same day.
The police arrested Yamaguchi. During the interrogation, the man partially denied his guilt, saying that he had not used physical force enough to crack his father's ribs.
The Associated Press (AP) reported on December 28, 2024, that New York correctional officers beat a handcuffed prisoner to death. It was clarified that the guards kicked him in the chest, and then lifted him by the neck and threw him.
