The minimum retail price for 0.5 liters of vodka in Russia has increased since January 1 and amounted to 409 rubles. This is evidenced by the relevant order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation dated December 18, 2025, published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

In addition, the minimum price for 0.5 liters of brandy and other types of alcohol produced from wine, fruit, cognac and other distillates aged for at least three years is set at 605 rubles. For cognac and whiskey with the same aging, the minimum price will be 755 rubles.

In addition, starting in 2026, the Russian Ministry of Finance has set new minimum purchase prices for ethyl alcohol. The minimum price for ethyl alcohol produced from non-food raw materials and denatured alcohol was 84 rubles per 1 liter (excluding excise tax and VAT). These changes are aimed at regulating the alcohol market and supporting producers.
