Russian Prime Minister wishes Russians a Happy New Year

On January 1, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin congratulated all Russians on the upcoming New Year and Christmas, and wished them fulfillment of all their wishes.

"Dear friends! Please accept my sincere congratulations on the New Year and Merry Christmas! May the coming year be a time of creation, fulfillment of desires. Successful for Russia, and therefore for each of us," says his address, published on the website of the Government of the Russian Federation.

The Prime Minister stressed that the January holidays fill hearts with warmth and kindness, as well as unite people with common feelings such as happiness and inspiration. He wished his fellow citizens health, well-being and mutual understanding, as well as the discovery of those nearby who support them and allow them to move forward.

On December 31, 2025, Russian President Vladimir Putin also delivered his traditional congratulations on the occasion of the upcoming new year. He noted that the work, successes and achievements of every citizen form new chapters in the thousand-year history of the state, the strength and sovereignty of which determines the security and development of the Fatherland. In addition, the Russian leader addressed the soldiers of the special military operation (SVO), whom he thanked for their hard work and responsibility for the Motherland and the truth.
