Employees of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States allegedly did not confirm information about the Ukrainian attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. This was reported on December 31 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing a source.

"This conclusion is confirmed by the assessment of the Central Intelligence Agency, which has established that there were no attempts to attack Putin," the publication says.
