The number of residents of the Novgorod region left without electricity has halved
The number of residents of the Novgorod region who currently remain without electricity has halved. This was announced on Wednesday evening, December 31, by the governor of the region, Alexander Dronov.
"I held a regular meeting of the commission for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations. Currently, 2,697 people in 12 districts are without electricity, which is two times less than it was at 3 p.m. today," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Dronov, representatives of operational services in his region are currently continuing their work in a "special mode." In addition, he clarified that on January 1, 2026, 24 more teams will be additionally connected to the already formed brigades.
He thanked all those who take part in the emergency recovery work after the power outages.
Representatives of the administration of Ramenskoye near Moscow reported on December 30 last year that an emergency power outage occurred in their city due to a technological malfunction that was detected at the supply center in Donino. Later that day, the Ministry of Energy of the Moscow region reported that all social facilities in Ramenskoye were connected to electricity.
