Electricity supply has been restored in the villages of the Zaporizhia region that were attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on December 31 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.
"The power supply to the settlements of the Zaporizhia region has been restored," the Telegram channel said.
The governor thanked the power engineers who worked on restoring electricity and noted their teamwork and professionalism. It is specified that the operational services continue to operate normally.
Balytsky reported on December 30 that emergency crews had begun to return light to the settlements of the Zaporizhia region. It was clarified that socially important facilities are provided with backup power sources, and generators support the operation of water supply and critical infrastructure.
The lack of light in the settlements of the Zaporizhia region became known earlier. It was clarified that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had inflicted more than 20 strikes on the power system.
