The United States has issued new sanctions against companies and vessels linked to Venezuela. This was announced on December 31 on the website of the United States Department of the Treasury (USDT).

It is specified that four companies have been added to the list of special categories (SDN) of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC): Aries Global Investment LTD, Corniola Limited, Krape Myrtle Co LTD and Wimky Myrtle Co LTD.

In addition, the list includes four tankers flying the flags of Hong Kong, Panama, and Guinea.
