Russian tennis player Sarksyan changed his sports citizenship
Russian tennis player Daniil Sarksyan has changed his sports citizenship, and now the 19-year-old athlete will compete under the Armenian flag. This was announced on December 31 on the website of the Association of Tennis Professionals (APR).
At the age of 16, the athlete began studying at the Rafael Nadal Academy.
Sarksyan holds two doubles titles at the International Tennis Federation (ITF) tournaments.
Earlier, on December 15, Russian tennis player Polina Kudermetova changed her citizenship. The profile of the 22-year-old tennis player states that she will now represent Uzbekistan. On December 27, the Russian Tennis Federation (RTR) announced that the National Center for Sports Arbitration (NCSA) had settled a lawsuit against Avanesyan in a case for damages due to non-fulfillment of a sports training contract.
