Le Pen spoke about the negative attitude of foreigners towards France
People outside France do not have the best opinion of the Fifth Republic — at best, foreigners sympathize, and at worst they show their irritation or ridicule. This was announced on December 31 by the Leader of the National Unification Party, Marine Le Pen, on the Facebook social network (owned by Meta, a recognized extremist organization in the Russian Federation).
"Abroad, our country arouses sympathy at best, irritation or ridicule at worst. For all French people, this is a heart—rending pain, a feeling of disappointment and, in some incredible situations, shame," she wrote.
According to Le Pen, French President Emmanuel Macron is unaware of the current situation in the country and in the world. She recalled that this year, due to the political situation, there has been a deterioration in the standard of living and the situation with the rights of the French.
"And I regret that I have seen our country sinking deeper and deeper into the swamp that this horrific five years has become," the politician added.
On October 6, Mathilde Pano, the leader of the parliamentary faction of the Unconquered France party, called on Macron to resign. She also recalled that the country's Prime Minister, Sebastien Lecorny, resigned less than a month after his appointment.
On October 2, mass protests against the government's budget policy took place in Paris. According to the police, the number of protesters amounted to 20 thousand people. About 5,000 police officers were mobilized to protect order in the capital.
