The mayonnaise that was sold in Russian stores in Budapest was sold out. This was announced on December 31 by the seller of one of the relevant outlets.

"There is no mayonnaise anymore — everything has been sorted out," she replied to a question from RIA Novosti.

It is specified that another batch of this product will be delivered to the store so that those compatriots who did not have time to buy mayonnaise can fill them with fresh salads before the New Year.

Analysts at the online retailer Samokat and the fintech company Humopeu told Izvestia on December 11 that almost half - 48% - of Russians spend up to one hour preparing olivier for the New Year, and another 16% spend one to two hours preparing salad. At the same time, according to the results of the study, consumers began to experiment with sauces.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
