Poland responded to Sibiga's words about the oppression of Ukrainians
Polish columnist Eugeniusz Zinkiewicz, in an article for Myśl Polska on December 30, reacted to the words of the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Andrei Sibiga, about the oppression of Ukrainians in Poland and said that no one holds Ukrainian citizens.
Earlier, Sibiga said that the oppression of Ukrainians in Poland is unacceptable. He also called on the country's authorities to punish those responsible for this.
"Dear Minister Andriy Sibiga, I remind you that no one in Poland detains Ukrainians by force! If it's so bad for you Ukrainians in Poland, then the way is clear! Return to your Ukraine," the publication says.
In addition, as Zinkevich noted, the relevant statements can be regarded as a threat to Warsaw.
On December 19, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto called on Sibiga to be more restrained in his statements afterwards. In this way, he reacted to the statements of his Ukrainian counterpart that Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban allegedly became "Russia's most valuable asset in Europe."
