A man with a hammer attacked two passengers on the Paris metro at Temple station. This was reported on December 30 by the newspaper Le Parisien with reference to the Moscow prosecutor's office.

"The police of the area intervened on the spot and quickly arrested the man who got off the train," the publication says.

The incident occurred on December 29 at 13:00 (15:00 Moscow time). According to preliminary information, the accused tried to rob a passenger who refused to obey.

CCTV footage showed that shortly before that, the man had also attacked a minor, the publication added. It is noted that the attacker was in a state of severe intoxication.
