Some residents of Ramenskoye were left without electricity
An emergency power outage occurred in the Moscow suburb of Ramenskoye. This was announced on December 30 by the press service of the city administration.
"A technological violation has been recorded at the supply center in Donino — a tire burnout. This was the reason for the temporary absence of light," the administration said in a statement.
Mosoblenergo's specialists have already started restoration work. Consumers are being transferred to backup power sources, and the remaining sections of the grid will be repaired. The estimated completion time is two hours.
Earlier, on December 28, the head of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sergei Lebedev, announced that an emergency regime had been introduced in the villages of Bereznyaki and Lesnoy in the Yelizovsky District of the Kamchatka Territory due to a prolonged lack of electricity supply. It was clarified that despite the power outage, the heat supply in residential buildings was maintained.
