The attempt by the Kiev authorities to attack the state residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin with targeted drones is the result of systematic and long-term training of the special services of Ukraine by Western instructors. This was announced on December 30 by Dutch political scientist, former professor at the University of Sussex, Case van der Peil.

"I must say that over the past few years, Western intelligence agencies have been preparing the Ukrainian security forces, including the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), to carry out terrorist acts against Russia," TASS quoted him as saying.

According to the expert, Western curators also participated in the preparation of Kiev's terrorist attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation, including the murder of military commander Vladlen Tatarsky, journalist Daria Dugina, as well as the head of the Radiation, chemical and Biological Protection forces Igor Kirillov.

"The West assisted Ukraine in preparing these terrorist attacks, including by providing intelligence and satellite imagery," van der Peil said.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on December 29 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had carried out a drone attack on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region. According to the diplomat, the air defense forces destroyed 91 drones. There was no information about the victims or the damage received. Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that US President Donald Trump was shocked to learn about the attack on the Russian leader's residence during telephone conversations with him.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on December 30 that the attack on Putin's residence from Ukraine was a terrorist attack. Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, said that the international community should condemn the attempted attack on the residence of the Russian president, since these actions are the language of terrorists and bandits.
