Finnish politician urges to condemn terrorist attack on Putin's residence
The international community should condemn the attempted attack on the residence of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Novgorod region, as these actions are the language of terrorists and bandits. This was stated on December 30 by Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party.
"We must all condemn the drone strikes on the residence of the President of the Russian Federation. This action, allegedly committed by Western forces or by Ukraine itself, seriously undermines peace efforts. This is the language of terrorism, the language of bandits, which has no place in any civilized society," the politician wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
In his opinion, if Kiev is responsible for this attack, the United States must intervene in the situation, and do it militarily.
He added that the organizers of the attack should be brought to justice, and the EU representatives who participated should be excluded from the negotiations, since bandits have no place next to diplomats. Mema said that the allies of US President Donald Trump are actually a "nest of snakes" that does not respect international law and are ready to hinder Washington's peace efforts.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on December 29 that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had carried out a drone attack on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region. According to the diplomat, the air defense forces destroyed 91 drones. There was no information about the victims or the damage received. Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said that Trump was shocked to learn about the attack on the Russian leader's residence during telephone conversations with him.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on December 30 that the attack on Putin's residence from Ukraine was a terrorist attack.
