Zelensky declared his readiness to meet with Putin in any format.
The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, said during a briefing for journalists on December 30 that he was ready to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in any format.
"Zelensky is ready for any format of meeting with Putin," the publication "Public" quotes him in its Telegram channel.
Zelensky added that Ukraine and the United States are holding intensive daily consultations to coordinate the points of the peace plan. According to him, a working group led by Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Rustem Umerov is in constant phone calls with the team of the American President Donald Trump.
In addition, Zelensky said that it would be "useful" for Ukraine if the head of the White House came there on a visit. According to the Ukrainian leader, this will make it possible to "count on a cease-fire."
The day before, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that there was currently no talk of a telephone conversation between Putin and Zelensky. This is how he reacted to reports from the Focx News channel that the talks between Trump and the president of Ukraine could create conditions for the latter to contact Putin.
