Rosspirtprom completes acquisition of Tatspirtprom

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) of Russia has approved the purchase by Rosspirtprom, the largest supplier of ethyl alcohol in the Russian Federation, of 100% of Tatspirtprom shares. This is stated in the manufacturer's press release on December 30.

"Tatspirtprom JSC informs about receiving approval from the Federal Antimonopoly Service for the purchase of 100% shares of Tatspirtprom JSC by Rosspirtprom JSC," the company's website says.

It is noted that the deal was prepared during the year and was carried out at the market price. According to the terms of the contract, two legal entities will be retained, each of them will continue to specialize in its core competence. The head offices of Rosspirtprom JSC and Tatspirtprom JSC will be located in Kazan.

As noted in RVB, the addition of Rive Gauche will allow to develop omnichannel sales, significantly expand the range of brands on the Wildberries marketplace and ensure the availability of cosmetic products to customers.
