The center of Murmansk opened a winter town on the eve of the New Year. A merry-go-round and an ice cave of Santa Claus were opened near the main Christmas tree, where you can take pictures on the ice throne.

According to the Bi-port news agency, the fairy-tale character will personally greet the guests from January 1 to January 4 from 12:00 to 18:00.

Master classes will be held next to the chamber, under the white dome. Children will be able to make souvenirs and toys for the Christmas tree with their own hands. You can sign up for the link. From January 1st to January 3rd, the events will be free of charge.

There is a fair "Warmth in the North" with souvenir shops on Vorovsky Street. An ice trap maze, themed photo zones and a bar with Arctic drinks were also set up there.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that Russian-style Christmas trees have become the most important trend of the season. Instead of traditional toys and tinsel, trees are decorated with sweets and garlands of dried fruits tied with ribbons.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
