Nine car companies changed prices in Russia in December

According to the results of December of this year, prices for new cars in Russia have changed for nine brands officially represented on the market. This was reported on December 30 by the analytical agency Autostat.

In the first half of the month, six brands saw an increase in the price of individual models. These are Haval, Solaris, Exeed Exlantix, Belgee, Hongqi and Wey. The domestic Ambertruck brand has one model that has become cheaper, while Lada has had a price adjustment in both directions. In the second half of December, the SWM brand raised the cost of one of its models.

The largest increase in both percentage and monetary terms was recorded for the Solaris HC crossover — the model in the Prime MT and Classic MT trim levels became more expensive by 411-491 thousand rubles (plus 20.8-24.6%).

Earlier in the day, it was reported that starting in January 2026, AvtoVAZ will adjust prices for the Lada model range. Despite the inflation rate and the tax changes being introduced, the average price indexation will be only 0.5%, the company's press service said.
