Sergunina spoke about the work of the capital's "Good Place" centers

In 2025, over 45,000 Muscovites visited the Dobro Mesto volunteer centers, which is 20% more than a year earlier. They got acquainted with the directions of the volunteer movement, were trained, joined actions and communicated with like-minded people, said Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.

"Over the year, the network of district volunteer centers has expanded to 10 sites. Two new spaces have been opened in the north and northwest of the capital. In total, more than two thousand events were held for the citizens: master classes, lectures, trainings and programs dedicated to significant dates and events," said Sergunina.

"A good place. NWAO has become Russia's first training center for the International Volunteer Corps of the 80th Anniversary of Victory. Not only briefings were organized for the participants, but also classes on the history of the Great Patriotic War.

Throughout the year, Muscovites painted portraits of veterans in various centers as part of the Victory Colors campaign and made gifts with their own hands for participants in a special military operation.

Citizens celebrated holidays at the playgrounds: postcards were made on March 8, wool flowers were made on Children's Day, and quiz questions were answered on Family, Love and Fidelity Day.

In the new space, "A good place. Kurkino has set up a unique environmental laboratory where those who wish to learn about plastic recycling and its reuse. A content studio has also been set up here to record podcasts, interviews, and music.

In addition, Muscovites actively collected food and medicines for cats and dogs, visited the wards of shelters, and learned more about helping animals at lectures.

The first three "Good Places" appeared in 2022 in Zelenograd, the Western and Northern administrative districts. In 2023, their number doubled: sites were added in the Southeastern, Eastern and Southern districts. Last year, spaces were opened in the North-Western and North-Eastern administrative districts.
