A man was detained in Arkhangelsk on suspicion of promoting terrorism.
A resident of Arkhangelsk is suspected of publicly justifying and propagandizing terrorism. This was announced on December 30 by the press service of the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
"The regional investigative bodies of the TFR have opened a criminal case against a 48-year-old resident of Arkhangelsk, suspected of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public justification of terrorism committed using the Internet")," the agency wrote on its Telegram channel.
The department reported that in April 2025, the man supported terrorism in public messenger chats, and also posted a test comment supporting and justifying terrorist activities. It is specified that he was detained, and the apartment was searched with the seizure of all information media.
Employees of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia have detained a Donetsk resident for calling for the killing of military personnel and attacks on Moscow. During the investigation, it turned out that the woman had established contact with Ukrainian intelligence, and also sent photos of military equipment of the Russian armed forces via messenger.
