Moscow IT projects received almost 70 awards in 2025
Moscow is one of the leaders in Russia and abroad in terms of the pace of digitalization. According to Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina, in 2025, the capital's promising solutions received almost 70 prestigious awards. These include the BRICS Urban Innovation Award and Digital Peaks, the Runet Award and Priority: Digit 2025.
"Moscow has extensive experience in implementing innovations in various fields. The effectiveness of our developments is regularly confirmed by domestic and international experts. Last year, more than 50 IT projects of the city were awarded," Sergunina said.
In particular, in 2025, Moscow was awarded the BRICS Urban Innovation Award in the People-Centered Robotics category. The jury highly appreciated the launch of Russia's first unmanned tram, the introduction of an autonomous cleaning robot "Pixel" and a robotic system for monitoring construction sites.
Eight Moscow solutions have won the Runet Prize. Thus, RUSPASS and Mospitomets services were recognized as the best in their nominations, and the digest "Trends in the development of smart Cities" was recognized in the special category.
Six projects of the capital were awarded the national award "Digital Peaks". Among them are the Moskino film platform, the Moscow Teams mobile application, the Mos.Hub software creation platform, and the Digital Teacher math service at the Moscow Electronic School. Five urban solutions, such as the Moe platforms.Cloud" and Mos.Tech, were awarded the "Priority: Digit — 2025" award.
Over the past 2.5 years, the capital's innovative technologies have been presented at more than 100 specialized international events. Among them are the Smart Nation Expo in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and the Smart Cities India Expo in New Delhi (India). As a result, delegations from 27 countries, in particular from China, Brazil and the United Arab Emirates, became interested in promising Moscow developments.
