The average cost of a car in the Russian secondary market decreased by 7.5% over the year and amounted to 1.5 million rubles. On December 30, Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this, who analyzed the average prices for used cars presented on the platform in 2025 and compared them with data for 2024.

Among the models for the year, the average price decreased the most for Lada 2111 (-6.7%, to 139 thousand rubles), Audi Q5 (-6.4%, to 1.96 million rubles), Audi Q7 (-6.3%, to 3 million rubles), Lada 2112 (-6.3%, to 150 thousand rubles) and Nissan Primera (-6.3%; 300 thousand rubles).

Hyundai Grand Starex (-6.1%; up to 1.5 million rubles), Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (-6.1%; up to 3.1 million rubles), Lada Niva Legend (-6%; up to 935 thousand rubles), Lada 2113 Samara (-5.9%; up to 160 thousand rubles rubles) and Lexus LX (-5.8%; up to 6.5 million rubles).

According to analysts, throughout 2025, the price dynamics was heterogeneous, which was due to many factors, including a reduction in the key rate and the introduction of new customs and tariff regulations.

Experts noted that the dynamics of the average price depends on changes not only in the cost of a particular car model, but also in the market structure. The more available versions of a particular model or budget cars of a particular brand are on sale, the lower their average price.

Earlier, on December 27, it was reported that in Russia the average cost of owning a car is 101 thousand rubles per year, but in some regions it is 4% less.
