AvtoVAZ announced new prices for Lada cars
Starting from January 2026, AvtoVAZ will adjust prices for the Lada model range. Despite the inflation rate, as well as the tax changes being introduced, the average price indexation will be only 0.5%, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on December 30.
At the same time, prices for the flagship Aura sedan and the Largus station wagon will be significantly reduced. So, starting from January next year, the initial price of Lada Aura will decrease by 354 thousand rubles and amount to 2.25 million rubles (-14%). The price of Lada Largus will decrease by 73 thousand rubles and amount to 1.59 million rubles (-3.8%).
The company noted that prices for Vesta family cars will not change much. The 2026 model year version, which recently received additional equipment, will cost from 1.58 million rubles. The initial price of Granta will be 850 thousand rubles (average change — 1.9%); Iskra — 1.28 million rubles (1.8%); Niva Legend — 1.1 million rubles (1.8%), Niva Travel — 1.42 million rubles (1.9%).
According to the head of AvtoVAZ Maxim Sokolov, the company's production plan in 2026 is 400 thousand vehicles, and the company will return to the standard five-day workweek schedule from January 1 to fulfill it.
"We confirm our plans to update the model range and intend to start production of the Lada Azimut flagship crossover next year, equip the Niva Legend with a new 1.8—liter engine, and launch the Vesta Sport on the market," the top manager added.
The press service of AvtoVAZ reported on December 15 that the Lada Vesta 2026 model range family has been equipped with new options, including extended keyless entry and autorun. The key card now automatically unlocks the door locks if the owner gets within 1.5 m of the car. If desired, this function can be deactivated via the on-board computer.
