One person was killed and one injured when a car collided with a tree in Buryatia.

In the Kizhinginsky district of the Republic of Buryatia, as a result of a collision between a passenger car and a pole, one person was killed and one injured. This is reported by the Republican Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The accident occurred on the night of December 29 on the 11th km of the Kizhinga–Chesan–Zagustai road. It was previously established that the 37-year-old Nissan Note driver lost control. The car flew off the roadway and crashed into a tree.

As a result of the collision, the driver died on the spot before the ambulance arrived. His 36-year-old passenger was hospitalized with serious injuries, writes IA UlanMedia.

On December 28, a domestic Lada was involved in an accident on a highway in the Krasnodar Territory during a snowfall. The driver, an 18-year-old young man who got his license four months ago, and his 17-year-old passenger were killed.
