A young driver and his passenger were killed in an accident during a snowfall in the Kuban

In the Kurganinsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, two young people died as a result of the Lada's exit into a ditch followed by a rollover. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The accident occurred the evening before, on December 28, on the 54th km of the Gulkevichi– Chaplygin–Mikhailovskaya highway. It was previously established that the 18-year-old driver, who received his license four months ago, did not choose a safe speed in the conditions of snowfall and lost control.

The car flew off the roadway into a ditch and overturned. As a result of the accident, a young motorist and his 17-year-old passenger were injured, from which they died on the spot, writes KrasnodarMedia news agency.

On December 27, an accident involving seven cars was reported on the federal highway Kavkaz in Dagestan. According to preliminary data, the accident occurred due to icy conditions and drivers' failure to maintain a safe distance. Three people were injured.
