The territory of Molodezhny in Lipetsk received the status of a park
In Lipetsk, the territory that the townspeople know as Molodezhny Park was officially transferred to the balance of the Lipetsk Cultural Spaces Foundation. GOROD48 was told about this in a cultural institution.
This winter, the authorities plan to develop a concept for a Youth park, so that they can then go into public discussions with it. At the same time, the "Cultural Spaces" will be engaged in the maintenance of a new territory for themselves, including clearing snow from alleys, bike paths, a children's playground, a training complex and a ramp for extreme athletes.
Now Lipetsk officially has seven parks: Bykhanov Garden, Metallurgov, Nizhny Park, Victory Park, Sokolsky Park, the park area in the "European" and the Youth Park itself.
The publication clarifies that it was planned to assign the territory of the Youth Park status in the last decade. In 2010, the architects developed the concept of a "unique space", which was supposed to be a place for a relaxing family vacation and sports activities.
However, the project has remained unrealized, currently parking lots, shops, shopping malls, and landfills are located along the borders of the park. Part of the territory on the side of Krivenkov Street is a frozen construction site of the infamous Rolling Stones sports complex.
