Seven accidents with victims were recorded in the Murmansk region in three days

From December 26 to December 28, seven road accidents were recorded on the roads of the Murmansk region, as a result of which one person was killed and eight injured. This is reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

The fatal accident occurred on Sunday morning, December 28, on Fadeev Street in Murmansk. The KAMAZ truck flew off the roadway and crashed into a metal garage. The 60-year-old driver was killed.

According to Bi-port news agency, eight people, including one minor, were injured in the remaining six accidents. Four of them were treated on an outpatient basis, three were hospitalized, and the 12-year-old victim refused to be hospitalized after being examined by doctors.

The circumstances of all accidents are being established.

Earlier in the day, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry told Izvestia that 508 road accidents occurred on the country's roads in the last weekend of 2025, resulting in 80 deaths and 667 injuries. Among the dead, 71 people were drivers and passengers.
