For seven decades now, the Kremlin Christmas Tree has been the country's main children's holiday. This season, the magical story "Cherished Chimes" staged by Honored Artist Anatoly Nezhny will unfold on the stage of the Great Hall of the Kremlin Palace. The performance will be complemented by New Year's decorations, unique costumes and specially written music by the composer Efrem Podhaits based on the poems of the poet-storyteller Andrei Usachev, known for the books "Miracles in Dedmorozovka" and "School of Snowmen".

The New Year's performance is timed to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Leonid Nechaev's legendary Soviet film "The Adventures of Pinocchio" and the 90th anniversary of Alexei Tolstoy's work "The Golden Key", which he specially wrote for theatrical production. The director of the new ice show, Russian figure skater Ilya Averbukh, gathered the stars of world figure skating on the ice: Alexey Yagudin, Alisa Dvoeglazova, Tatiana Totmyanina and others. The story will remind young viewers of the plot that they have known since the cradle, and adults will plunge into childhood. The program of the production includes modern choreography, acrobatic performances, live vocals and incredible special effects.

According to the plot of the production, little Sasha Pushkin falls asleep and sees himself in dreams as an adult in the magical land of Lukomorye, where significant events of his life take place.

In the story, a boy Friend and his Girlfriend's relatives live modestly, but they find a way to bake a pie not only for their family, but also for strangers. This is how the New Year's tale begins.
