British boxer and former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua was injured in a car accident in Nigeria, which killed two people, the Daily Mail reported on December 29.

According to the newspaper, 36-year-old Joshua was in a Lexus Jeep when the car crashed into a truck. The published video shows a heavyweight athlete sitting shirtless in a wrecked car.

Later, Joshua was spotted sitting in the front seat of an ambulance. The boxer suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Two more people, the driver and passenger, who were traveling with the ex-champion, died at the scene.
