FAS has opened a case against the "Dymovsky sausage production"
The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has launched proceedings against Dymovskoye Sausage Production LLC due to a possible violation of competition law. This was reported on December 29 in the Telegram channel of the FAS of Russia.
"JSC Ostankino Meat Processing Plant has applied to the department. The company has been producing and selling sausage products under the Ostankino brand since 1993, including Festive sausage since 2001," the report says.
Over time, this designation began to be used by other manufacturers, whose products were widely sold and were popular with customers.
In 2022, Dymov Sausage Production registered the right to the trademark "Festive", after which the company began to sue entrepreneurs who sold sausage with that name.
"The FAS has opened a case on grounds of violation of the Law on Protection of Competition," the FAS noted.
On October 14, the FAS press service opened a criminal case into the distribution of audio advertisements during a flight operated by Pobeda Airlines on flights en route Moscow — Sochi. It was clarified that we are talking about advertising high-interest deposits in the bank. According to the agency, in accordance with the current legislation, the use of vehicles for the distribution of sound advertising is prohibited.
