A fragment of a separating launch vehicle was found in Yakutia

In Yakutia, in the Vilyuysky district, a fragment of the separating part of the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle was found. The torus tank was found in a sparsely wooded area in the Yugyulyatsky area of Vilyuysky ulus. In the spring, the search for other separable parts will continue. On December 28, at 22:18 local time, the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with two Aist-2T satellites and 50 associated vehicles launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome.

The satellites were separated from the Fregat upper stage in stages, with a total withdrawal time of about five hours. The devices are designed for remote sensing of the Earth, scientific and technological research, as well as monitoring of various processes.
