In Yakutia, in the Vilyuysky district, a fragment of the separating part of the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle was found. The torus tank was found in a sparsely wooded area in the Yugyulyatsky area of Vilyuysky ulus. In the spring, the search for other separable parts will continue. Then it will be a more suitable time for searching.

Environmentalists from Yakutsk, Khabarovsk and Moscow are working on the site. Specialists measure the radiation level. The fragment's fall was recorded at 22:31 local time.

On December 28, at 22:18 local time, the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle with two Aist-2T satellites and 50 associated vehicles launched from the Vostochny cosmodrome.

The satellites were separated from the Fregat upper stage in stages, with a total withdrawal time of about five hours. The devices are designed for remote sensing of the Earth, scientific and technological research, as well as monitoring of various processes.

It was planned that the spent elements of the rocket's design would land in some areas of Yakutia, as well as in the Zeysky district of the Amur Region, writes IA PriamurMedia.
