Seven people were injured in a bus accident in Birobidzhan

In Birobidzhan, a passenger bus crashed into a power transmission pole. Seven people were injured, four of them were hospitalized. The data was reported to TASS by the regional Department of Health.

According to IA EAOmedia, the driver of the bus route No. 26 lost control and collided with a power transmission pole at the intersection near the Rodina cinema in the capital of the autonomous region.

There are no children among the injured. Three of them were allowed to go home because they had minor abrasions. The hospitalized patients have isolated fractures, their condition is assessed as satisfactory.

The prosecutor's office establishes the circumstances and causes of the accident. The procedural check has been put under control. The City Prosecutor's Office will assess the condition of the Birobidzhan road network and how fully measures have been taken to eliminate ice on the roadway.

Earlier, on December 29, it was reported that in Khabarovsk, two traffic police cars collided while chasing a drunk Toyota Prius driver. Traffic police officers noticed a Toyota Prius car, the driver of which ignored the legal requirement to stop and tried to escape. Additional crews were involved in the pursuit. During the chase, two official vehicles collided.
