Volunteers from the Southern Administrative District of Moscow handed over humanitarian aid to children from orphanages and orphanages in the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics. The children received sweets, toys, board games, kits for school and creativity. This was reported on December 29 on the portal mos.ru .

Residents of the district brought new clothes, shoes, stationery and New Year's gifts to the collection points next to the skating rinks. Thanks to their help, more than 500 sets of school supplies and 600 sweet gifts were prepared.

The volunteers organized festive matinees for the children with the Snow Maiden and Santa Claus, and also gave targeted congratulations and gifts to families in difficult situations. In addition, humanitarian aid reached the mobilized infantrymen from Moscow in Makeyevka, who were given warm clothes, medical supplies and construction equipment.

Earlier, on December 25, it was reported that residents of the South-Western Administrative District of Moscow can join the actions of the Winter in Moscow project to support military personnel serving in their military area. Workshops on making camouflage nets and trench candles have been opened at the sites, as well as points for writing letters and postcards to the military. Free figure skating classes have been organized for the children of the special operation participants.
