Festive food packages were delivered to the soldiers of the North group of forces

On the eve of the New Year, military personnel of the support units organized the receipt, storage and delivery of festive food packages for military personnel performing combat missions as part of the North group of forces. This was announced on December 29 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Delivery is carried out by various means of transport, as well as units of troops of unmanned systems. One operator makes more than 20 flights per day. The average weight of each set is up to 5 kg. The festive set includes sausage, chocolate, porridge, coffee, tea and condensed milk.

"At the moment, the distribution of holiday packages has been organized so that we can provide the military with a real New Year," said the head of the food service.

The grocery set complements the basic diet and is designed to create a festive mood in difficult conditions.

Units of the North group of forces continue to carry out combat missions to ensure a security zone along the state border of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, on December 27, it was reported that the all-Russian public movement "People's Front" within the framework of the "Everything for Victory" foundation handed over about 10 tons of gifts to five units of the Russian Army on the occasion of the New Year. Mikhail Kuznetsov, head of the executive committee of the Popular Front movement, noted that millions of citizens across the country wanted to send them something warm and warming.
