On December 28, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during talks with US leader Donald Trump, made a slip of the tongue and called Ukraine the land of "many generals," although he meant "many generations."
"Of course, it is very difficult for our society to choose and vote, because this is its land — the land not of one person, but of our people, many generals... generations," Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian leader, speaking in English, confused the words generals ("generals") and generations ("generations").
